Basically, with technological advantages such as Photoshop available for use, we've superimposed a couple of images together to show movement.
During our photoshoot, we took 'burst shots' (multiple shots at one time) for the scenes that had movement in them. Afterwards, while editing the photos, we played around with the opacity and layer effects such as overlay, multiply, etc. after placing the various images overlapping each other on different layers.
We were unable to apply the traditional method of taking multiple exposure shots because that would've required the use of film cameras, not digital ones.
The images we've taken are still a work-in-progress and we're working on improving them by cleaning them up. Hopefully the final products will be cleaner, clearer photos.
