Making Use Of Double/Multiple Exposure

Rather than to simply apply a 'motion-blur' effect onto our images to create the illusion of movement, we've decided to make use of the 'multiple exposure' technique to achieve the same effect.

Basically, with technological advantages such as Photoshop available for use, we've superimposed a couple of images together to show movement.

During our photoshoot, we took 'burst shots' (multiple shots at one time) for the scenes that had movement in them. Afterwards, while editing the photos, we played around with the opacity and layer effects such as overlay, multiply, etc. after placing the various images overlapping each other on different layers.

We were unable to apply the traditional method of taking multiple exposure shots because that would've required the use of film cameras, not digital ones.

The images we've taken are still a work-in-progress and we're working on improving them by cleaning them up. Hopefully the final products will be cleaner, clearer photos.

Remote Control Design References

  • The movie where we got our reference from.

  • Logo is located at the bottom-center of the remote.
  • Numbers 1-12 can be found on the remote.
  • No play/pause, stop, fast forward or rewind functions.

  • Standard layout - arrow keys centered around the 'Enter' button.
  • Smaller, less significant buttons don't stand out as much and are arranged in a linear fashion.

  • Minimalistic design.
  • '+' and '-' buttons.

  • Smaller, rectangular shaped remote control similar to our box design.
  • Logo also located at bottom-center of the remote.

Logo Design Ideas

Logo design references ^

To create a simple logo design, preferably centered around the idea of an app logo,
like the ones that can be found on an iPhone.

To add a glossy effect to it? Similar to the reference app logo images above.

Logo title? CTRL
